Went out scouting today on my land and found some awesome deer sign down in the swamp bottoms and I'm wanting to start a mineral site with some Monster Raxx with a mineral block. But I dont know any good mineral blocks that i can use that aren't purely like sitting a huge lump of salt out there. Is there any of ya'll that would know a really block to put out there? I also pulled a card today out of one of my trail cameras that was on a clover food plot . I found where the deer had been bedding down in the middle of the 200 yard long area which butts up against a creek and had 5 different game trails leading into it. Got a few pictures of young bucks, a lot of does and three or four pictures of little fawns hiding in the grass. View attachment 29628

    Deer mineral recipe

I found a recipe and modified it with great results:

    1 part Dicalcium Phosphate
    2 parts Trace mineral salt
    1/2 part stock salt
    1/2 part dry molasses

Feed stores carry this and my total for 400 lbs was $105. Mix it in 5 gal. Buckets and carry two, easier to walk with two than one. Work them into the ground and/or old stumps and wait. Only took about two weeks before they were tearing mine up.

If you are dead-set on using a mineral block in conjunction with MonsterRAXX then I would suggest a trace mineral (brown) type found at most Tractor Supply stores or Co-Ops. JMHO but the MonsterRAXX is perfect to use by itself too though.

Why are you against a plain old salt block? If there's one thing I learned this year with minerals is that deer don't stop visiting raw salt. They will however with minerals since they aren't 100% salt they stop gettin hit much sooner then just raw salt. I mean that's all just my opinion though and depends on what your tryin to do for your herd.
