I haven't checked in for quite awhile. I have been hunting hard all week trying to capitalize on this time in November we all love. This "rut" has been slow thus far. Last Sunday was the best by far....i saw 6 different bucks and 2 shooters, just not close enough. I checked a camera about 250 yards out my front door and couldn't believe it. Buster my no 1 hitlister shows up about 1.5 miles from his home farm where I've been hunting him. Needless to say I'm going for him tonight here close to home. He's definitely in my head now.
