I have done a good bit of research and I'm really liking the Millenium Stands. From what I can tell, the only difference in the M25 and M50 is the CamLock Receiver which I really like the idea of having. Is it worth it to spend the extra $50 for the M50 and the receiver system though?

I used the M25 last year with Millennium climbing sticks. No complaints. The stand was pretty comfortable for all day sits. No creaks if I stood up, etc.

I bought the M50 last week mainly for the camlock receiver b/c it will be easier to hang the stand and I can buy extra receivers and quickly move the stand to another spot when I get to that point.

This year I will use both and two sets of Millennium climbing sticks. If I ever need a climber, I'll look at Millennium first.

Another question- does the M50 come with a camlock receiver?

Yes it does. It comes with the receiver that has the strap not the chain

In your experience do you prefer the chain or the strap?

I haven't used it yet but I prefer straps. The M25 was very secure using their straps. I have no doubt the M50 will be the same.

In have the M25, M50 and M100. I don't like the cam lock and straps are much easier to tighten than the chain. If the tree is slightly unlevel, it's difficult to slide the stand in the cam lock. I've spent many days in the M100. Really comfy and quite! I also have a few Muddy's. They are very light and easy to set up. U might want to check them out too.

I have the M25, M50 and M100. I like the straps personally for the cam lock they are easier to tighten. I won't buy any other loc-on treestand. The Most Comfortable on the market! PERIOS!!
