    Yep, DD214's are awesome. Since I got one every time I re-enlisted I have a handful of them but the best one is the one where the "reason for separation" block says "Sufficient Service for Retirement".

    Thank you all for your service ! I tried to enlist when the military came to my high school. Every branch had recruiters there. I started at the Navy as i thought i would be a SEAL lol. Then worked my way to every table as they all shook their head no. Marines, Army, Coast Guard, Air force…. All a big fat “Sorry”. I had gotten into a car wreck the year before and had a metal rod and plate put in my leg. I was very sad that day.
