to train soldiers being deployed. So, today I had to put my employer on notice. When the warning order comes down, I'm out of my job being tied to a desk for 10 1/2 hours a day and teaching soldiers for 6 times the pay!

I'll be home in time for the rut!!!!

There's a light at the end of the tunnel and this time it isn't a train!!!:D:D:D

Everyone who retires from the military is in the reserves until their 60th birthday (unless medically disqualified). But this time, I was called to come in as a subject matter consultant and they're paying $60 per hour to train soldiers!:D

Best pay I ever got from the military for sure!

I thought you were dead and gone at 55 .... not 60. Anyway, congrats on a pay day.

P.S. You see... where you're going wrong don't you? You should write up this job discription and call for it to be a full time GS employee, at least at grade level Gs14 or something or other. IT would add stability to the critical position and continuity to the training. Then you take the job as a civilian who can punch the short clock and make more money.

Well sir - I appreciate your efforts in advance!
I'm sure the military is a better place with you in it...

Or as the movie said "You can't handle the truth" (ha-ha).
    Good luck and be well!

I won't be back in it per say, but I will be back to training soldiers to take the fight in an educated way. Why go searching for the enemy if you know when and where he'll be?

I've never hunted Buck on a Leash. How much did you have to pay for that last year?:D

Just be aware that I'll have the buck and you'll be the loza!:D
