I still venture over on HNI, although I spend more time here. I feel threads (for the most part) stay to the point, and there's a great group of knowledgeable people on all sorts of topics here. I'm finding myself in the gun section of HNI more than the bowhunting anymore.

Did Jersey's gift to the bowhunting world ever shoot a buck this year or get a deer on film? Last I remember I asked him if it was worth all the crap he was spouting with noisy, stinky camera guys. Sad thing is he had pics of decent deer and had his properties fenced off to stop perpetrators.

dt249 asked the Rob'nator and myself to delete his account.
He's still there, just under another user name.

Anybody invite HCH over here yet?

For the amount of swag I got for BH.com now, they better not switch domain names again. I'll likely just iron on the next logo to the hats and shirts I already own.

They're switching to VBulletin soon. An AT clone? Possibly.

Same software, but they're not doing it to copy AT. The company that owns HNI also owns VB. ;)

Not trying to clone AT, VB is just a much better software. We always wanted to get away from the software that's used, but there's not much out there in the way of quality .NET forums. VB is programmed in PHP, which we never supported. The company that owns HNI now runs a ton of sites, all of which are using VB for their forums.

Eventually we'll upgrade/change this forum sotware as well. But not until you guys start buying more gear from us so we can afford it. ;)

Oh I know VB is much nicer. Heck, PHPBB is nicer, and that's open source (no offense, but the search feature over on HNI was always pretty rough:d ). I just feel that there will be way more advertisements, there's already an enormous amount of bickering, and so with the addition of moving to VB, it will now also have the appearance of AT.

So Droptine went into a witness protection type program of sorts over on HNI?

Wonder if his I.D. will ever slip through? lol
