Not sure if any of you have seen this yet, but Bill Winke and a bunch of guys from Iowa are putting together these "webisodes" on Realtree.com right now called Midwest Whitetail. They're basically up-to-date info on what they're doing when it comes to deer hunting and so far they've been pretty cool. I've watch all 4 episodes and my only complaint is that some of the "buck introductions" they're doing are getting a little old. Once they start hunting it should be really cool to keep up to date on.

We're going to be starting in on the offical MidwestWhitetail.com website build here pretty soon, so once that's up you'll be able to watch all the videos there, read Bill's blog, and a bunch of other cool stuff.

I've been a Winke fan for a long time and I think he's a good writer and deer hunter, so I dig what he's doing. I'd like to do something similar on Bowhunting.com as far as my season goes, although it will be a lot less exciting with a lot less monster bucks. :D But I am going to try to do weekly updates throughout the season, so we'll see how that works out.

Anyways, check it out when you get a chance. You might like it!

I tuned into the first episode. I think once the season rolls around and hunts start to come in you are really going to get a feel for how something like this will play out.

The entire Field Staff for Midwest Whitetails are certainly going to be working their tails off this season.

I hope it pays off for them.

Great concept and I plan on watching episode 2 tomorrow.

Thanks for the link Justin. Good luck on keeping your own journal this season.

Bill Winke is a good writer and dedicated hunter. I think it will work out.
