    JACK**** here in central ND. I had the last 10 days off & hunted almost everyday. High 60's low 70's everyday with a high of 76 yesterday. Still seeing bachelor groups along with bucks & does together like it was September. Ten day forecast is continued warm. I'm thinking it's gonna be a week or so yet.

    Central IL two days ago I had a young 3 point buck all fired up chasing a doe who wasn't too worried, as those 2 left a big boy arrived. He walked right to me and stared but the wind took my scent away,?he walked away and I got him stopped at 30...and I shot to 29. Put the arrow right underneath him. I can't say how pissed I am.
    I don't think the mature deer are quite rutting yet but there was 30 acres of corn next to us, which I hope is down for gun season.

    N.E. Ohio, the Rut is definitely on Saturday morning I had several small bucks running right in front of my stand chasing does called in 5 small bucks yesterday morning saw a couple nice bucks trailing does to far for a shoot but they are moving.
