I am like a kid waiting on christmas for Saturday morning...T-Storms leading up to that hunt with temps dropping and a new farm I have never hunted all lead up to high anticipation.

Good luck to anyone else heading out this weekend!

John I was in it Thursday morning. I got up, it had quit, didnt check the radar  and as daylight approached I was hearing distance thunder. I text the wife to see if a storm was on the way and then it cut loose :D It never quit!! One good thing about all this rain, look at the leaves its gonna beat off the trees !!

Got wet yesterday and the day before. When it was raining this morning, I bailed as my hunting gear still hasn't dried out. Clear this evening w/ lows in the upper 20's. Will be out tonight.

Weather says it's going to be sunny and 54 here Saturday. I'll believe it when I see it. I don't want to spend my only four days off sitting in the house watching the Outdoor Channel.

Yes, highs in the 40's and lows in the 20's with a chance for some snow tommorow. With everything mentioned it should be a solid weekend to be in the woods. I've got a 3 dayer so I'm pumped.

It's been raining for several days here in NE Oklahoma but it looks like it might stay dry for the next couple of days and the temps have plumetted so I'll be sitting in a tree as much as possible this weekend.

Lucky guys. Saturday is off limits for me, gotta take my wife on her annual trek to the covered bridge festival in Parke County, Ind.

I am sort of torn on this rain. Being its very early I like the fact that corn will be standing quite a bit longer(though I feel for farmers). I like hunting standing cornfield edges and fencerows.

There's about 2 inches of snow sitting in my yard right now and just got done getting ready for the morning sit. Should be a good one. Haven't got out this year but hopefully this weather will get the deer up and moving.
