Who got wet today? Man does this weather suck!! I had plans on maybe getting out tonight, but it rained all freaking day! It's supposed to rain all night and most of tomorrow too. I sure hope I can get across my 2 creek crossings Friday night.

I can't hunt anyways, so let it rain! We're going to have cold temperatures on the back side of a low pressure system this weekend. Combine that with a good moon phase and I do believe we're going to see some deer up on their feet Saturday and Sunday.

John right after our texting I had a nubber come in and got him on video then it started to open up.
I manage to get back to my truck just in time. BTW I have the link on team 7's thread to my feeble
    attempt at recording.

yeah great weather at this rate it will be the middle of november before the corn comes out and that will be just fine and dandy for the weekend warriors with their all but challenging sluggers to kill all the deer we faithful bowhunters watch and chase all year through rain sleet and snow. oh well sorry bout the rant but yeah got wet today, but enjoyed every minute of it

John---those creeks by your farm are most likely really FLOWING hard like every other one in the county. Most of the fields and roads today all had lots of standing water in them, and every creek looked like you could whitewater raft down it!

I'm more upset that this crappy weather is just postponing any of the crops on our land from getting out. We still have around 180 acres of standing corn and beans that haven't even had a dent put in them. That standing corn creates a HUGE problem in some of my best spots.

Didn't get out today, but will be in a tree tomorrow evening and Saturday morning. Should be really good hunting this weekend. I wish I could go more this weekend, but have other stuff I have to do.

i went out to a sure fire buck spot, Wanted to throw down the first fake fight of the year. Made a nice ground blind, wind was perfect, setup was nice.....Left the quiver in the bow bag....DAMN!! WAlk back get it De scent again./ Set up in the blind. Weather man said no rian till 8 perfect...
15 minutes later a drizzle, ok i can live with that....
Then a steady light rain... I bailed. I hate the idea of shooting something nice and losing it to rain
The only good crisp day I have been out hunting i Killed one....We need some more of those

I am heading 3 hours north into Indiana territory tomorrow morning. Have to pull down 3 cams, and hang a set around mid day....I WILL be in a stand tomorrow evening unless it is a torrential downpour...and then I'll have Saturday AM and PM and possibly Sunday AM to hunt before I head back home for the weekend. Excited to finally get some solid onstand time in for the year!

I'm getting tired of getting rained on while walking to class! It's starting to get annoying lol. If I'm going to get wet I'd much rather be in the deer stand.

I decided not to go and finish up a story for Field & Stream I needed to get done and go in the morning instead... Ended up PERFECT down here tonight, and my wife says it's supposed to storm hard in the morning.

I'm about to check wind direction and sunup time and set the alarm; if it's raining cats and dogs when the alarm goes off I'll stay in bed. :)

Uh, yeah. We got a little wet today. And, oh goodie......The rain has really picked up the last couple of hours. It's rained harder this evening that it did all day.
