I saw this camera at wally world and used one of their computers to do a quick search on here to see if anyone had said anything about them. Nothing - So, I purchased one. Going to put it through some tests and see what she does. This requires a Micro SD card and I didn't see that fine print until I got home. I was lucky because I happened to have 1 micro card that used to be in a cell phone I had.

This thing records into MP4 files that are pretty big. What format should I change them to to retain the majority of the quality but reduce the size?

I'm not so familiar with that camera but a camera not only test on its brand but you should also consider the quality of lens and function of the system and since it was an action camera I guess it has good lens.
