Anybody test the soil in the plot more than once a year? I rotate the deer on and off the plot during the summer, and rotate off around laborday when I put up the fence. I usually mowed and added lime and fertilizer just guessing in the past, wondering if a soil test is worth the investment twice a year?

I soil test every other year. The testing place told me it takes 2 years for the lime to mix into the soil.

I test mine every other year for perennials, and every year for annuals.
