I'm fairly computer literate and more so than most I work with. Scary but yes, it's true. Ok well I need some help with Outlook 2010. We have a group calendar we want to post available overtime on. We have a category for filled and unfilled overtime. I'm trying to create a shared template everyone can use to create a overtime posting with basic information in it and have it saved in a location everyone can get to. Here's the problem... Outlook keeps creating the calendar event on my personal calendar and not on the group calendar. Additionally when I bring up the template, it has the properties of my categories, not the ones we set up on the group calendar.

With that said, if there are any techies out there that can help me, please do! Thanks!

And just to clarify, creating the initial template is not the issue, I can do that. :nana:

(And as I'm typing, I hit some keyboard strokes to save this as I was trying to change the thread title. If an admin sees this, please change thread title to Microsoft Outlook help! Thanks!)
