Yeah I think Miles is gone And honestly, I'm not sure how I feel about it. I didn't like Miles, but the guy was a decent enough coach that we were guaranteed at least 9 -10 wins a year. I just don't think he is a championship type coach (yes I know he won in 2007). I guess it all depends on who LSU hires as a replacement. *crosses fingers* Gary Patterson *crosses fingers*
Sounds like a done deal. I'm not sure how I feel about Les at Michigan. Either way, i will be interesting to see how this works out. Edit: How do you feel about it Germ?
UNC Basketball team had such a meeting, right before Matt Dougherty was hired and fired. I'm hoping (for you UM fans) your new coach gets a better shake than Dougherty did. Mutiny is a good word. He never had a chance.
I'm not sure how I feel about Miles, but I found this poll on ESPN interesting. Which fans would be happier if Les Miles went Michigan? LSU Fans Michigan Fans The guy averages over 10 wins a season, including 5/6 in bowl games, wins a national championship, and their fans might be happy if he leaves. Crazy.
I can't comprehend that, Vito. Who would be worthy of their love? What would he have to do to earn/keep it?
I can't speak for them (LSU fans) but I think they think they can do better. Les has pulled some large coaching blunders in his tenure at LSU including multiple mismanagements of the clock. I don't think it's how he won but HOW he lost. All the fans seem to remember is when the coach screws up instead of weighing the good with the bad. Additionally, overly high expectations of many SEC fans. Maybe I wrong but that is how I perceive it.
When you say they could do better......I suppose there's somebody who can run the table with them every year???? That's about what it would take to be an improvement.
http://www.tigerdroppings.com/ Yep!!!! I am happy the mad hatter is all yours I like Aub. OC or the coach at Houston
Not really We would just like a team that looks more prepared week in and week out. Trust me, if you followed LSU football, you would understand. I know it looks and sounds ridiculous from a casual observer's point of view, but in the mind of many cajuns, getting rid of Les Miles is the best thing for LSU. It's truly a love/hate relationship.
http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/2011/jan/11/sdsus-hoke-discussions-michigan-job/ The first time it was sabotage by Herbie When Buckeye logs on he can show you the PM I sent were I state Brady Hoke as the next MI coach. How did I know? Simple, he's the only one who wanted the damn job
