In the last four days, I have 7 brand new bucks on camera ~ middle of the day! Several are chasing does. Mock scrapes are taking off. Sneaking out of work early tonight and can hunt Saturday morning. After that I'm tied up for 8 days. Ugh!

I've seen the buck travel starting to really pick up these past 5 days in southern MI (Jackson county) but no shooters on camera. Saw a few little bucks yesterday morning. Lots of pictures of little bucks on trail cameras just in the past 4-5 days. Warm/ windy today, I don't think it's gonna make them move to much but who knows.
My mock scrape got hit. Other then that nothing. Havent pulled cards yet. I'm gonna try to get out Monday. Good luck everyone.
Well - got er done this morning despite numerous problems. Left the house about 15 minutes later than I wanted. Forgot my doe-n-heat spray and had to walk back 60 yards to the truck. The tree that I thought would be perfect for my climber had huge humps on the backside that limited me to 7 feet off the ground. Had an Elmer Fudd in the woods just before first light. Guy walked back and forth for about 20 minutes right before first light with a bright flashlight. Fortunately after I flashed him with mine, he went down the hill toward the 1.5 foot deep creek. 5 minutes later, I heard a huge splash... karma! After it got light, I realized my only shot was standing free hand. I couldn't go up and didn't want to go any lower. 9am saw this guy cruising about 100 yards away. Two doe bleats later, he turned and came right in. I'll add the after pic as soon as my phone stops arguing with me.

Seen a button buck chasing a doe. Then a big buck started chasing her. I'll be living in the tree the next week or so. Except work getting in the way with fun time!

Just on my drive home I saw a buck making a scrape, pretty cool he had the branch in his mouth shaking the tree. Deer all over looking very active finally. I'm headed up where I hunt tomorrow night after work till Tuesday afternoon this should've pretty sweet! Good luck to all ☠️
In mid-MI I saw bucks on their feet and chasing everyday from Nov 1-Nov 5. Shot 2 of them (lost one.) Heading back up tomorrow night.
