Just thought I would let everyone know... Michigan is back and ready to roll this season. Now lets get this Rain Delay overwith so we can get the W in the BOOK.
They put a great coaching staff together for this season and Robinson is finally becoming a Qb who understands the game. Im looking forward to the Iowa, Ohio State, and Michigan state games. We will show why Michigan is the Legend and a LEADER

Ok I was at the game and Michigan is far from back, but at least we are on the right road. We had two defensive td's today, we had 3 under the rr era of three years.

Jake Ryan is the real deal at lb, but our defensive needs work and a lot of it.

Germ I KNOW MAN..... BUt dang it, it feels so good to win. Along with the d-fense we did get some good shots on carter today. But yes we did alow way to many yards but its just the fact that we did win given a rain delay and I think Western wanted to quit JK

It was about to be 41-10.

The o-line was taking over that game.

I know it... I think we will roll ND next week and I just like the way things are headed. The pro set and O-line keeping RObinson safe is great. I was wondering what it was going to take to get the D-line to fill some holes that were big enough to drive trucks thru. But we have to admit when it came time to blitz they did do it well

I know you want to get pumped, but beating W Michigan use to be by how many, not if...when ya'll get back to the how many, then you are back,

Western Michigan has a QB who will play in the pros, he's a stud.

It's not about Michigan team talent wise being back, because we are not. We are still way to slow on defense and cannot get pressure on the QB without blitzing. Our d-line at times got pushed around yesterday.

Being back is more about their attitude, and at least understanding, This is Michigan

The Urban Meyer Coaching Tree takes partial credit for the improvement of Michigan's defense. See, Greg Mattison.

Atleast Germ Understands me. Its the Fact that we have a Coach who knows the OHIO is a terrible state. They would rather walk home than get gas in that state....... Brady Hoke is what we needed he came in and made people believe in the program again

I wish you the best with Bobby Bacala :tu: lol... we'll see if UM is "back" in Novermber. Usually not a good sign when you get "your man", after your first "your man" says no thanks.... then your second... and third.. etc..

Go back 11 years , tressel was OSU third choice.

Brandon only made one offer to one person for coach. There is no way we want les miles.

Everyone knows interim head coaches are so hot right now.

    I'll play level-headed UM fan...

    1. It was Western.
    2. It was one game.
    3. It was Western.
    4. One 14 point swing made the game look more lopsided than it was. UM's defense was getting shredded and Western was likely going to score on that drive. Still, UM made a play and you can't take that away from them. Just saying, it could have been a much different game it if weren't for one deflected pass.
    5. It was Western.

With all that said, the program definitely has a different feel. I think good things are ahead. Probably 1 or 2 years, but the future looks promising.

I agree, Vito. There's no doubt in my mind that he'll clean up Rich-Rod's mess.... just gonna take some time. It'd be nice to see some magic happen before that QB moves on. He's a stud!

Let's not forget Western's dominance over MSU in the 90's!

The d-line is still terrible, and besides wolfolk are corners play way to soft.

Vito the first D-TD was great for this defense because someone made a play. Jake Ryan is going to be a stud the next 3 years.

Mattison made the adjustments and put pressure on the QB, GergR would sat in 3 man front and we would have got shredded. The d-line a problem, and it's a talent problem. I watched LSU DE run down James from Oregon. We need more speed on defense for sure.
