So I was curious for awhile about the early doe hunt we have in Michigan here. I wanted to know if you could use a bow for it instead of firearm, (traditionally most use a gun). So i called the Bay City DNR post to ask. And you CAN but they see it and treat as if it was firearm season and to abide by those type of rules and regulations. such as the obvious hunters/blaze orange and shotguns in lower l.p. and rifles in northern l.p. and u.p. mostly because i don't wanna spook all the deer already before regular bow and firearm season start up.
