Haha ya I'm sure a couple people have gotten a few kicks out of reading those comments but ya I would say u are pretty much in the sweet spot now
Dansville Treedweller I must be pretty close to you, I am about 20 minutes south and east of Lansing. I currently hunt State Land, but am always looking for privtae land to hunt. It is hard to find out here, everyone want a ton of money for their land leases. There is some pretty good State Land out this way though.
ya im in willimston area, i cant tel lyou how many farms i stopped at and got the same answeres everytime either its leased out already or they hunt them selfs. i actually put a add on craigs list and had a guy conact me with 600 acres that i am now leasing out and i actually got a pretty decent deal for 600 acres. i think the best state land i have seen if over near leasley area but the only downside is its about a hour from my home.
I am in Dansville, not too far from you. I hunt the Dansville Rec Area, whick get s pretty close to Leslie. There is good land there. Not too many bowhunters, just don't go near there during gun season. The Orange Army is out in full force.
ya thats pretty much right there and ya thats what i figured but with crossbows being legal now im sure the hunters will increase during bow season to. i like to stick more to private land so that way i dont have to deal with that orange army. but since u are so close i tend to try and make it out to whitetail acres 3d range every tuesday and shoot should make it out there sometime.
I will keep thatin mind, if so I will let you know in advance, I have always wanted to go there. Thanks
there pretty much every tuesday up until season, its probably one of the better 3d courses i have found, great practice for hunting also
