I know this is a Michigan - Bama thread but I got to mini hijack it...the Barn lost to Clemson...not much better than Bama coming out strong and the little horse school losing, these are actually the nights I wish I drank.
Yeah yeah, I know...there was a time, oh yes there was a time. Heck Trevor, just a few short years ago you would fine me passed out in ditch somewhere around 3rd or 23rd street, or on the soccer fields, or just outside Bryant Deny at the frat house, or...,ahhhh the good ol days. What made those days is Bama was in a worse place as far as the program goes, so drinking was a necessity

As a north carolinian with ACC football all around and WVU fan by marriage, I sympathize. However, two points. The SEC is far and away better then any big 10 schools. It seems every year The Ohio backs its way into a bowl game with a limp schedule and pitiful opponents. Meanwhile SEC schools beat the tar out of each other all season. This is also why they shouldn't even rank teams till after the 2nd week or so. 8 for Michigan. I bet there are at least 4-5 SEC teams and 4-5 big 12 teams that would do the same to them week in and week out. I'm a WV fan by default, but there is no denying the lopsided talent residing outside the big 10 now a days.
Talk down as much as you want on tOSU and the B1G, but at least use truths, there are VERY few teams if any who schedule as strongly out of conference as Ohio State. Out of conference schedule Ohio State has recently played or will soon, off the top of my head. Texas, Southern Cal, The U, Cal, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Georgia, Vady... Actually Tennessee canceled their home and home with Ohio State and Vandy is trying to do the same. They are running Son! I do find it funny an ACCer / Big Easter is talking down the B1G when the ACC and Big East is clearly inferior to the B1G.
Dear jaded SEC fan, Jan. 4, 2011... Sugar Bowl: tOSU 31. Ark 26. As for my little sister, they far and away have a winning record over your beloved SEC Is the SEC the most dominant conference in CFB? Without a doubt. But don't think that they can't/don't/won't get beat. Trust me, they will. Programs like tOSU, UM, USC, Oregon, Miami, Texas, Fla St., etc. will always win games. Cheating huh? Here are two scenarios of cheating, a coaching staff breaking NCAA rules and over practicing their players so much that said players turned their own coaching staff into the NCAA, and a few kids selling some of their swag. One offered a competitive advantage, one didn't. Get over it Germo, Michigan also cheated.
