Has anyone here taking or taken methotrexate in the past?

I have been experiencing problems in a couple fingers, my knees and my feet. My doctor (pending blood work to say otherwise) diagnosed me with psoriatic arthritis.:(

Yesterday he wrote me a prescription for methotrexate. After doing some research on this drug, I do not what so ever like the effects this drug can have. I am trying to decide if I want to take it or suffer with the pain.

So if anyone here has taken it or knows anyone who has taken it, can you shoot me a pm please so we can talk about it.

    Thanks.

There's more out there to take than that including over the counter stuff. IB Profen helps a lot for me.

I take tylenol arthritis when my fingers flare up. I have to admit it helps. I try to prolong the doctor on this as long as possible, but its getting near.

This helped for a little while but it seemed mornings and evenings were 10 times worse while I took it. I was at the point to where when I woke up in the morning I almost fell flat on my face when standing up getting out of bed.

Same here but I decided enough is enough. Waiting to long will cause some serious joint damage. I'm not saying they cant get damaged now but I'm sure the odds are better.
