What "guidelines" do you have in classifying hard rock or heavy metal music? It's become an office discussion and we don't know where to go.

Metallica and justice for all and previous- metal, black album to present- hard rock

    Pantera- metal

    Rob Zombie- hard rock

I think true metal is becoming extinct, but I may be too old school in terms of metal. Anything deemed as metal now I can't listen too.

Here's the iPod on my phone artist list. Most but not all I consider metal. A bit stuck in the past with music
