Fellas, I was at Menards yesterday and saw some great prices on basic hunting gear. They have a sweet looking hang on lounger for 50 bucks and several ladder stands at rock bottom prices. I bought 2 treble hangers for $5, 2 cans of Tinks doe in heat spray for $14, 3 pair of cammo jersey gloves for $3, a pull up line for $2. It's a small section in the store, but worth a look before hitting the big Bo's stores.

Saw they had a cheaper climber in their ad but don't know if it's any good. I'm guessing it's cheaper for a reason.

I bought a set of climbing sticks.from them. There not the best but they have held up pretty good. The only thing I did was replaced the straps. I didnt trust the ones that came with it.

    I don't trust any climbers, but I'm a chicken.

I got a harness and ladder on clearance last fall that are both good. Hoping to get some more when they cut price again this year. Should be able to grab a stand or two too

Which Menards did you hit the one on Grand in Gurnee? I stopped by the Antioch store a few weeks back and they didn't have anything.

I just saw online that they have Scent Blocker stuff. I was really surprised by that.

It's even better than that...buy some home maintenance supplies with the hunting gear, and the wife won't know you spent more cabbage on equipment. LOL!

Planned to run by Bass Pro one morning this week so might have to run over and see what they have.
