Memorial day is always a somber and thankful day in my life ... I want to thank all of you that have served this country, whether in wartime or not. Your service is appreciated beyond words and I thank you all. I am going to ask all veterans and those enlisted to please put your name on this thread and copy and paste as you go so we can all thank you and pray for you. I will start with the 2 guys I know that have served...please add yourself to this list: LittleChief Iowa Veteran

Thank you to all Veterans and to their friends that may have passed while serving. America owes you something that cannot be measured.

Today is not about the veterans who are still living, it is about those who gave their life in combat. Although it is not in the original declaration of the holiday, I would submit that it is also about those served and then went on to their post as eternal sentries later. For the purpose of today, the list should only contain 1 from this site that I know of: Davidmil. May he rest in peace as he watches over the rest of us here.
Amen to that, thanks to all who gave their lives so that we and our families can live a descent life and bowhunt.
I agree with this 100%. That is why I did not put my name on the list, we have veterans day for vets. Today is about those no longer with us.
