Reagan was a president I would have great honor in sitting down with and talking. I would also do as many photo ops as he wanted.

I kind of have to laugh at everyone saying that they wouldn't give the time of day to the POTUS.

Like your time is much better spend on this forum.

I don't see how the two are related in any manner.??

Please understand that a lot of people would have absolutely no interest whatsoever in meeting the current president. Please count me as one. I respect the office, but I have no interest in meeting the current office holder. He is no better in my eyes than the governors from his state that are in prison. He comes from a corrupt system and has done absolutely nothing of importance in the private sector. He is the only person to have ever held the office that I would not walk across the street to meet. Believe it.

I have decided that during the next 3 years I am not going to do anything that would be worthy of meeting the president

    Great plan!!!!

No he has not done much, because congress is part of this process. Congress is run by the extreme wings of each party.

No, he wouldn't have gotten anything done if the extreme wing of the R party had any controll and it's too bad they aren't. Obama's problem is that there are a lot of folks in his party that don't even agree with him...like with gun control.

I can probably name you a 1000 things that I would find more rewarding then sitting down with him and he is from my state unfortunately.

Thank God it is that way too. Especially at this point in time. This is part of what makes this country great.

I wouldnt want to meet a ceo of a failing business. If our country were run like a business we would quit giving away money we dont have and start making a profit. Id rather go shopping with my wife at victoria secret or those other stores I have no interest in then sit in a room with Obama for 5 minutes. I dont respect him because I cant believe a word that comes out of his mouth.

One cannot run a country like a business, lets say we did, why would we have the arm forces? They lose money, national parks? Interstate hwy? Companies do not invest money in anything without an ROI.

Like Clinton. If I saw him walking towards me down the street I'd switch to the other side.
But that goes for any known leftist.

    Excluding the following you mean?
Armed forces: Protect interest in resources and materials, like oil. (Nearly every administration since Roosevelt has had a near incestuous relationship with oil companies, investments, and related interests).

National parks: federal control of natural resources.

Interstate highway- I believe Eisenhower required 2 mile straight stretches of road which could be used as emergency airstrips was one reason...interstate commerce another.

I know this I was quoting someones post. I said if we were a business we would make a profit and quit ridiculous spending. I know its impossible to maintain this nation and make a profit. Whats ticks me off is that we give money to other nations for nothing. We blow the piss out of them and rebuild. So really we are payimg to blow them up and then paying lots more to rebuild them. I just dont get it.
