FOS or not, there are people who still stand up for what they believe in. I'm with these guys.

Freedom that's what makes this thread great and Obama not great. You're entitled to your opinion just like we are but this President does not stand for this country and I cannot stand for him.

Yes I would. As others have said, I have a high respect for our country & the office, whether I agree or disagree with him.

One of the biggest problems I see with our country is that people with differing views are not willing to talk to each other.

I also have a feeling that a certain % of you talk the talk, but would not walk the walk :busted:

Well I could argue that since the majority voted for him, that he does stand for this country...

No, that I would do. No self promoting photo ops at my expense for me.

I saw the undefeated dolphins team photo op with the president yesterday and that is what got me thinking about it.

I can't remember who it was but there was an athlete that refused to meet the POTUS with his team for personal beliefs. And of course there were the few dolphins that refused.

No, nothing positive would come from us meeting. Also, I would be embarrassed to seen in a picture with him.

I would imagine that if most of you knew the beliefs of your favorite sports figure, musician, whatever, that you would probably disagree with them on a lot of things. But you would all jump at the opportunity to meet them.

I don't know. I just find it silly to limit one's life experiences just because you disagree with someone.

I'd go. How many ordinary people can say they have been in the white house. It would also give me the chance to respectfully voice my opinions to Obama.

Not sure how politics and the outdoors have a single thing to do with one another.......this is bizarre.

Their beliefs do not affect my life or standard of living.

    Obamas does

When I typed that I knew I should have worded it differently. He doesn't stand for what this country was founded on. Hard work, freedom, and many other points. I would like to meet a sitting President some day hell I would still like to meet wild Bill but I have such a loathing for Obama I just couldn't bring myself to meet him. If I did go that would make me feel like a hypocrite.

I'm not an 8 year old kid anymore so I don't consider meeting the POTUS a life experience. I consider it to be something that I would have to be forced into. Most things I'm forced to do I resent. Being that Obama is the current president, I would really resent that.

    Obviously, my answer is...... NO.

I would not meet him by choice, but I have to say if I was put in a position where I was to meet him, I'd never even think about spitting on him or knocking him out. I can be cordial to people I don't care for.

Yeah because no adult could ever think that having a conversation with one the most powerful and influential (and he is) people on the planet could ever be classified as a life experience. Forgive me.

I said that "I" don't consider it to be a life experience. Some adults may consider it a life experience. Hell, some adults think wearing Toms is cool. I think they're :dan:
