We just got back from my daughter's boot camp graduation in Great Lakes, IL. I didn't care for missing opening weekend, but I'll have plenty of chances to kill deer. You only get one shot at this. Here's a pic of Sandy, my "stunningly awesome daughter in her blazing white uniform". (Her words, not mine ) She's the youngest of six.
Awesome, and thank her for the service to our country. Lord knows it needs all the help it can get. But tell her to stay away from the Ketchup Bottle while she has that uniform on.
A web foot??? Say it ain't so. Not the Navy. LOL And dang... she's correct..."Awesome stunning". She makes a Navy uniform look good. She also looks like a smart outgoing gal. Good for her.
That's awesome Chief!! Congratulation's to you both!! Like Tony said, good thing she's got her momma's looks!!
CTI. She'll be at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA for 18 months followed by three years in Hawaii. Tough, isn't it?
Stationed in Hawaii, Westpac, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, or one of those other Eastern Asiatic languages more than likely. If she gets Korean I can help.
I kind of left that out, Mark. She was assigned her language in boot camp. She got Mandarin Chinese, which was exactly what she wanted.
