I think McGregor does better than most think but inflicts no real damage and then runs out of gas in rounds 6-7 and gets picked apart once he gets tired and his footwork falls apart.

    I'm watching for sure though.....

Floyd dances and hugs his way to 50-0 and a pay day. Might be the most boring fight to watch (or not watch) of all time. Yes Mcgregor does pose some danger with his power and "could" catch Floyd with one. But, he has defended himself all his life against the best boxers in the world. I don't think this dude is going to come in there and do something magical to change that.

I think this should be a TLC match instead of boxing

idk McGregor is probably a nastier more fierce fighter in the octagon and Mayweather I don't think would stand a chance. but as far as just stand up boxing goes I feel like Mayweather could sneak one in on him. either way Ill be glad when all this is over.

I enjoyed Connor's remark to Floyd when he said he was going to knock him out. "You haven't knocked anyone out in 20 years". If nothing else the press conferences may be more entertaining than the actual fight.

I hate the press conferences and I hate seeing them show it on ESPN. They don't act in a civil manner and it is all just unnecessary crap to draw attention. I personally am not attracted to that at all. They should take a note from some other sports and handle a majority of their talking in the ring. Example: Tom Brady or Julio Jones or Lebron James. Not a lot of trash talk, just go out and dominate.

edit: I know boxing is different and they need to do this to generate views and revenue, I just hate seeing it and hate how it leaves an impression on people that it is okay to act this way.

Oh there are people out there that honestly believe that Conor has a chance.

MAYWEATHER HAS NEVER BEEN BROUGHT TO A KNEE IN THE RING.... Boxing world class talent.

Mayweather should be able land punches to McGregor's face just about anytime he wants. Conversely, McGregor will have a very hard time landing anything of significance on Mayweather. But, anything is possible as it only take one big punch.

Some claim Mayweather has not fought any stars on their prime, and has not knocked anyone out in years.

The talking will be more entertaining than the fight. It's a Mayweather fight - boxing fans will love it, casual fans will be bored.

I really hope McGregor lands some big shots on him.

I'd love it if McGregor is getting his ass handed to him he "forgets" he's in a boxing match and goes full MMA on Mayweather before anyone can stop him from doing so.

I honestly don't know/care enough about either one of them beside just all the hype they get.. Ive never really watched either one fight, I guess I should before I comment on them fighting each other. I know they're not claimed to be the best for no reason.. ha

They rode together on the private jet to do the last press conference, it is all a farce they are both laughing at the $ they will make for an exhibition.
