What grain points are you using? I shoot the Mayhem Hunters and love them. $110 for a dozen shafts off Ebay.

I shoot the pile drivers, and for hunting I like them. I wish they were faster, but I had a pass through that stuck 4" in the ground after impact. Just my .02.

    Depends on the season
I shoot the Pile Drivers at 60lbs. Yes, they are heavier and slower but man do they penetrate.

That's my elk and whitetail set up.

For other animals like pronghorn or bear, I opt for a lighter, speedier set up. Black Eagle Carnivores

I used the Mayhem Hunters 350, 28" 441gr total weight, for the last couple years and they didnt dissappoint at all! Full penetration with every deer i killed with them! I was in the same boat between these two arrows and the difference between the two in regards to KE is very little, the difference maker for me was i could keep the same/similar KE and pick up more speed with the Mayhem Hunters, so i went with them. Carbon express makes a great arrow period, so i dont think you could make a "mistake" with any of them.
