Maybe I am missing something...

I'm by no means saying they shouldn't be banned, just that it's laughable to compare idiots to a guy literally trying to get a rise out of the staple members of a new forum. The idiots should be given a vacation as he was.

Just pointing out there was no innocent victim in the previous example as the comparisons try to point out.


In the end its a freaking discussion board on the Internet. If this ranks even close to the top 20 activities, its time to do some prioritizing w life.

 

The comparisons have nothing to do with an "innocent victim" or comparing the "idiots" (interesting label) to the "innocent victim" but to a comparing level of intolerance applied to one member and not others. Apparently it is OK to call other forum members idiots now.

If GMMAT could get a rise out of someone then they obviously were not in his league when it came to debate.

Jeff was a legend in his own mind, when it comes to debating. He was a very intelligent guy, yet still an idiot -based on his actions. Hopefully, BHc admin will take notice of some newer members whose actions are equally idiotic and hit the eject switch on some of them. This thread will likely get somebody's attention.

 

Are you defending an old members wittiness or protesting the freedom given to new members? I've never once claimed jeff wasn't an extremely smart guy. He was very smart, as he would love to have you know. He just applied it in ways that were detrimental to the board one time too many.

I'd say the members in question will get the boot before too long, as he did. Difference is they won't even know why they are gone when he was seemingly gunning for it to happen.

 

I've been out of town for a week so maybe I missed something, but I haven't gotten an PM's, emails or phone calls about anything going on here. So if there's a problem, feel free to let me (or any of the Moderators) know and we'll be glad to take care of it.

 

I really can't comment on this thread. I never played on a debate team at the "NEXT" level. As I recall... if you didn't do it at college level your comments meant nothing. LOL AND.... I also remember if you've hunted a year you were automatically the expert on everything to do with bowhunting in the Carolinas. LOL But anyway, as I've stated..... I have no comment because I'm just another high school Harry when it comes to debate and bowhunting. LOL

 

No offense guys, but this thread is getting locked as it's not going anywhere good.

Again, if there is a problem that needs to be dealt with please let myself or any of the other Moderators know and we'll take care of it.
