Thinking about going to give this a try this year. february sound like a good time? Ive got a good spot i think. about 30+ acre of thick brush, tons of tree rubs, food, water, ect. Also I would like to take my dog. He has an insane nose. Always smelling the air when he's outside. kinda like a deer lol. Ive been giving him antler chews since I had him (2 years). There 100% natural unflavored and he loves them. Hopefully he'll find his own chew lol. Any tips would be great!
I know the crazy thing we found last year on trail camera was in our area (northern IN) we still had about 50% of our property bucks with racks in March (or atleast half rack). Our biggest buck named Bow was pictured in Mid-April with both sides....that's extremely rare though!
Ten of us stay at our cabin for a weekend in the middle of February. We've never found a shed, but have a great time with lots of poker and adult beverages. Can't wait 'til February.
Heres a tip : Get a good pair of hikers, and walk-walk-walk-walk-walk-walk-walk-walk Walk real slow--and if your seeing bucks still holdin', go home and give it more time.
