Well I found a hawg set today, old but I am still stoked! 8pts on the better half, 5 on the beat up side. Looks to be a 2 year old set, the one side is chewed something horrible but the other side isnt too bad, I may have just found my 5th ever 80+ inch side. Havent measured it yet. Had a blast today, I will get em all cleaned up. They were laying in a wet draw, hence all the green from run-off. OBTW 80 yards from one of my stands. I have never seen this buck before in my life. Just goes to show what "can" and or could be out there!

Take a guess at the score if you want guys before I score it, I will put a tape on it and get back to you. The best side of the two is only missing about 2 inches of antler from chew! The other side is trashed, missing the entire browtine and several inches off the tines..This is a very hvy set of sheds, the pix dont due it justice. Not bad for an old Idaho mountain whitetail.

A-frames area, its a stand Dee helped me hang two years ago. Ironically those sheds were laying down that mountain side just 80 yards away... Fresh at the time Dee an I hung it, late that spring! GRRR

almost 22 inches of mass on the good side.. not bad for buck eating on mountain brush and native feeds, logging clearcuts etc.. his entire life.. be something if this bigboy is still alive.. who knows..definately makes it interesting. Headed back in there today for the afternoon.

Jesus H. Those are some dandies, bro.

    Good god.

You need to get a piece of construction paper and trace the outline of the antlers and mail it to me, just so I remember what a big buck looks like.

You old shed hound you. I bet those babies got a big old fist pump out of you. :)

    Rock on brother.

True, its a special mountain. Its one of those places that has it all. Its so big and thick on that south side down in those big brushy draws and up on those big south ridges a guy could never find em all..sheds or bucks! Not to mention those bucks have so much mountain on the north to hide out in. Hella feed too. Found these sheds right below were the huge whitetail tracks were in the road two summer ago. Down off the finger ridge that has the thick big brushy draw, bingo.. in the draw right near the bottom. Nasty mess down in there.
