http://www.foxnews.com/sports/2017/...ing-anthem-is-arrested-on-gun-charge.amp.html A Liar and now this.... hmm
Well on the bright side if he gets sent to jail he'll hopefully be spending a lot of time on his knees
Assault with deadly weapon and disorderly conduct aren’t exactly gun charges but whatever. At least they are charging this POS Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Not to be contrary Germ but the gun law did not prevent illegal possession. That being said the man owes his people an apology, he has sullied the cause.
No he got caught and now there is punishment and the gun is out of an irresponsible persons hands, so it worked also
So it failed to prevent possession but punishment is imminent, I can live with that too bad it isn't a crime to be a dumbass.
See, this is what people don't understand about laws in general. Laws are written to provide a means for punishment, not prevention. Sure the typical law abiding citizen will probably abide by laws so that they don't get in trouble, but your typical criminal/idiot doesn't care about laws so all the laws will do is provide a means for punishment after a crime has already been committed. This is exactly why strict gun laws won't prevent gun related crimes in general.
Okay a law worked, I have been told laws don't work the past two weeks on this very b See this is what people don’t get, when they break the law and get removed from society(jail) it prevents them from breaking more laws Stating stricker gun laws will not prevent gun violence is completely false on your part, because you don’t know.
And they are back out in 6 months or some really shortened sentence because of overcrowding in the penal system. Well, they seem to be failing at a pretty epic level in places like Chicago so I do have some real life examples to back that claim. http://heyjackass.com/
First, you have not been told that I've seen that LAWS don't work. Only that additional GUN LAWS won't do what those calling for them claim they will do. Second, Criminals in Jail, DO commit more crimes, even murder while in jail. And they even get GUNS in jail which is already illegal also. gun laws only restrict what legal owners can have and do. Criminals don't care about the laws.
I do not deal in hypothetical's for few reason, they can be turned either side to fit views. Until we do a true study on Gun violence, where we compare state to state, city to city and laws to laws, I, you and the man on the moon have no idea what stricter, softer laws will do. Let's actually look a real data, but we never will because we can't even do a study on gun violence in america.
I can show you data from Canada, Australia and other places that show they "appear" to work. That's the point, until we do a real study, we can't even attempted to fix the problem, which may not even be related to guns, and I don't think it is, but we can't even do the study.
