I'm thinking of purchasing some new arrows for this season. Just looking for some input on the two. I currently use 30" Gold Tip Hunters in 300 spine.

    Mathews Heli-M 70lbs
    29" draw

Maxima Reds are overhyped and overpriced. I know from experience. Every one I've ever put into an animal has snapped at the "flex" lines.
I've tried many others, but never shot anything more accurate or tough than Victory Vforce 350s. And you can usually find them for about $70/12, ready to shoot.

I really like the Victory arrows...I've had a few dozen Victory VAPs from .001 to .006 straightness they are all accurate and tough...If I was going to buy new which I may...I would switch up to the .204 ID arrows like the Victory RIP or Black Eagle Rampage as they have tougher inserts or can handle a standard HIT insert. Victory are nice because they spine index the arrows now and mark them...nice touch. I think the Carbon Express are overrated as well. I shot Carbon Express for years and thought they were great until I switched to Victory and now I realize they were not that great for the $$. I got a dealer here who could probably hook you up with some Black Eagle Rampages all set up for a reasonable price if you are interested. Or call Jerry at Southshore Archery and he will build you some sweet arrows whatever you want but you'll pay a little more.
