Jeff, I know we have had this discussion many times. You know that I feel age is a bigger factor in determining trophy status. Now, with that said, I wouldn't shoot the buck. The reason being is that I am very fortunate to hunt a deer herd that has a lot of mature deer in it. I'm able to hunt areas that no one else can access, literaly 20 square miles. Unless the wolves or winter get him, I know he's going to be there next year and my chances of seeing another good buck are reasonable. Hypocritical, yes. But I have the opportunity to look for both up here, so I want both.
