I have a Mathews ZXT I bought used that has a 27" cam on it, I am a 28" draw length, my question is do I buy a complete 28" cam, not just a module, and how difficult is it changing cams on this bow. I looked on You-Tube for a video for this bow with no luck, any ideas would be appreciated!
That's the bow I have and can't remember for sure but think when they changed my draw length changed the whole cam. As far as how hard it is, idk. Have always let bow shop do it. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Very easy to change - with a press. There are some interchanged cams. Male sure you get the right one.
BUT first try the cam size you have, actual DL most likely will be 1/2-3/4" longer than what cam says. If you are a true 28 then a 27 1/2" may be what you need. You can use the cam you have now to judge how much longer you need.
Did you end up swapping out the cams? If so, do you still have the 27” cam? I am in need of a 27” RH. Thanks.
