I got a question for all you guys and girls, I had a reezen on layaway and last Saturday I was in the shop a man the shop owner knows real good traded his z7 in on a new heli, I was told that the bow wasn't but about 6mths old, he ask me if I would like to get the z7 instead of the reezen, I shot it and it felt good, so what do you think should I trade, I can get the bare bow for $475, thanks for any info you gays and give me, baitcaster:rock::rock::rock:

I own the Z7 for 2 years now and love it. If it feels comfortable check prices for any that are being sold in your area. Enjoy it if you make the purchase..

The Z7 is essentially the same as the Z7 Extreme except for the ATA...30" compared to 28" on the Extreme. If it is in good to above average condition than $475 is a good price...jmo

If its in good condition then my personal opinion is jump all over it. IMO you are getting a better bow and its a whole year+ newer. The Z7 is one of the better Mathews bows of the last decade. I cannot say the same about the Reezen. Nothing bad about the Reezen in particular, just never took off and stayed around like to good ones do. I think the Z7 is the better choice.

I love my Z7. I bought it new in 2010 and have had no desire to get a different bow since. I had the means to get a new one too; I shot both the extreme and the helium and did not feel like they had any advantages over my original Z7.

I also shot some Elite bows last year, which I did like, but again I did not feel like their bows were going to offer something greater than I already had. I will be waiting again for next year to see what comes out, but I'll be hard pressed to split ties with my Z7.

If I were you I would get the Z7 if it looks to be in good shape. Good luck and happy shooting!!! Let us know what you go with.

Thanks for the info, I was told today that someone else at the shop seen the bow and offer the dealer and asked him if I would like to sell it, he told him know, found out it was the man that traded in the was his brother-in-law, so feel that I done good, thanks again:rock::rock:

Z7 all the way. Much smoother than the Reezen.
