Last week while shooting my bow, upon releasing the string I heard a 'ting' and felt something smack my hip only to find my bottom string suppressor broken off and lying on the ground. I have always handled my bow with delicacy and the utmost respect leaving me with no explanation to as why this happened. Has anyone else experienced this with their Mathews bow or have an idea to have what could have caused this? Furthermore, do you think it is natural wear and tear or should I contact Mathews and see if they will replace it?

    Thank you all in advance,

    Phillip Howard

By all means if you are the original owner then I would contact them or go through your local Mathews dealer.

    Phil,
Definitely take it to your dealer. They should at least be able to order you a replacement if nothing else. There are a few decent dealers in our area. If you need the address for one PM me and I'll get you an address for a few.

Any company will or at least should back up their product 100%.

Just had Mathews send me 2 brand new limbs for my bow, cost me $0. Just have to pay tech for labor.

Your local dealer will get you fixed. Mathews had some issues with some of the early Z7 suppressor brackets. They designed them a little weak. Looking at your picture, you have the thinner ones. Make sure they change both for you.
