I am considering replacing the monkey tails with some other type of silencer. What would you suggest? Has anybody with a Z7 replaced them yet?

mine seem fine on my z7, the bow is very quite and shock free. i have never been to worried about bow noise after the shot, deer dont seem to react as much to the sound as much as the arrow that just passed thru them. hehehe.
    good to here from you.:D

I took all the string/cable acessorys off mine (exept peep) & the bow is still super quiet, I don't see a need for them at all :)

Why'd you take them off? Alot of people without a Mathews are buying them and putting them on their bows.

    mathews OVER RATED

I don't know why you all waste your money on mathews garbage. I have been shooting
A 1977 Jennings sniper edition bow since I was 14. I need more than two hands to count
my pope & young kills. Here's a pic of a true killing setup.

monkey tails work great. we have a ton of people buying them to put on their other brand of bow... I have a Z7 without them and it is still suuuuper quiet. on most Mathews bows they aren't even necessary.
