Mathews Z bows

    Is there much difference between the Z7 bows, Z2, Z3 bows other than ATA? Looking to buy a used one. Speed, smoother draw, hand shock?

    I believe they all have 30" ATA...7" brace height and the same cam.

    28" ATA


    I have the ZXT. It's practically the exact same bow as the Z7 besides the green accents vs the red accents. They all shoot about the same speed


    ETA: I also think the Z series is one of the best bows ever made

    The Z7 extreme and ZXT are both 28” AtA. The Z2,3, and 7 are 30” AtA. There is no difference in the cams anymore.

    I have a Z2, awesome bow. It has a great smooth draw and is pretty dead in the hand. My buddy likes it so much he’s getting a Z3.
