What is everyone’s thought on the triax that has them? The good bad and ugly of them?

I shot one once they became available and it is an Amazing bow. Dead in your hands and super quiet. I am waiting on mine to arrive any day.

I shot the triax, hoyt hyperforce, and bowtech realm x and bought the triax. The hoyt was out right away because it was quite a bit louder. The realm x I thought had a smoother draw that the triax but the triax was so dead in the hand. I thought that the triax seemed faster but we never shot them through the chronograph.

The best thing about the triax to me is the balance of the riser. It is perfect! It also is super quiet. Draw cycle is decent about like the Halon 32. I like the grip. I feel like I would have to shoot it a 1/2” longer in draw length to maintain my preferred anchor points with its super short ATA. I’m waiting for the Triax 32

I bought one in February and I have to say that it is an incredible bow. I haven't been able to shoot it in quite a while because of my hand surgery, though.

I had shot a Heli-m since they came out and I was concerned about adjusting to that much added physical bow weight. Compared to the featherweight Heli-m it felt like a boat anchor, but then so have most other bows I've shot.

When I got my hands on one I was very impressed with it. In fact, the very first shot was so vibration free and quiet that I turned to Jody at Mack's Prairie Wings and said "You're kidding me!" (I didn't actually say "kidding"; I said something else.) He just smiled and said "Nope, and I get that a lot with that bow".

The draw cycle is different than what I was used to, but not bad at all. Other bows I've shot tend to "ramp up" to peak weight, but this one seems to start you off right at peak weight and then ease up. Also, there is quite a bit of room on the back wall, so it doesn't try to run away from you if you creep forward a little, which is something that I really like. I'm still trying to learn how to let down because I haven't yet gotten used to where it wants to take off. I'll learn eventually.

I am always amazed at how it just sits there when I shoot it and at how quiet it is. I don't have a stabilizer on it because there is just no need for one.

Also, like JDUB talked about above, I got mine with a 1/2" longer draw length than I normally shoot. Everything just lined up better for me at 29 1/2" than my normal 29" draw length.

As for the "bad" and the "ugly" goes, you will have to get that from someone who didn't like it. In my opinion there is no "bad" or "ugly" with this bow.

I got one a few weeks ago and can attest to the dead in hand and quiet. I have not been able to find anything to complain about yet and I’m hoping it stays that way.

I shot mine again this weekend. It still surprises me how smooth and quiet it is.

Mine just came in last week. I put a couple of rounds through it. Like others have said....I still can't believe how quiet it is! If you didn't hear the arrow hit the target, I'm not sure you would hear anything!

Ok I have owned two. Bought one then somebody wanted it more than me so I let it go. Bought another one. The Triax is indeed the quietest bow I have shot. For me it shoots juts as well as the NoCam even though it only 28 A2A. Its steadier in the hand than the H32 in my opinion.

The only down is the sharp string angle due to the short A2A and thats a stretch.. Good luck!

i thought it was "meh". i dunno, all the bows out now are so good. It's really tough to say when they are not setup completely. I shot it back to back with my bowtech experience which is what i usually do. If i notice a difference that's worth 1k i buy. My experience felt about the same, speed, same, weight same. "meh".

  14. Triax is great nothing bad about them. Dead in the hand, silent and a tack driver, Speeds of 306 to 310 with a 390 grain arrow, with a 28'' draw. Max out at 70lb getting 72lbs. You cant ask for a better bow. You won't find a better bow.
