Hi guys! I have found a Mathews Ovation for a real good price. The bow is in awesome shape, and I was wondering what yall thought about this bow? I have never messed with an Ovation, so your thoughts will be appreciated. Thanks!!
$200 with everything. I have shot it alot and it shoots great, draws smooth and holds good too. I really like it. My only concern is the long axle to axle, being hard to hunt with after getting used to all the new short bows.
If you really like it and its only $200 then get it, if you get something else later it will be a good backup bow. Make sure you check everything on it, screws, string ect
If you like it, then don't worry so much about the axle-to-axle. Those bows in good shape usually sell around $250-300, so you're getting a pretty good deal. Worst case scenario, you could use it as a target rig, or you could flip it and make a little $$$ on it and buy something you might like better.
