I think the only real problem I'd have is with the weight of the bow. I wouldn't want to pack that around on my mountain hunts. If you just hint out of tree stand weight doesn't matter to much. Back in the day I had a limb saver bow I think it was called the speed zone, don't remember for sure, anyways the BH on it was just over 5" and it shot awesome. I like the long ATA, for myself personally a bow with a longer ATA is nicer to shoot and I don't Hunt out of ground blinds or tree stands, so that makes a bit of a difference maybe. I want to shoot a Mathews bow that I fall in love with again haha. Back to like 5-6 years ago and light weight. Heli-m XL for 2016?? Weight of a heli-m with a 33" ATA, the smooth draw and BH of the Z7X and the speed of the Reezen 6.5? Let's get that made. I'll take mine in stone tactical but with the black tactical limbs, haha
Everyone I shoot and hunt with adds a stabilizer to steady the 4lb bow that they shoot, at 5.3 pounds you can probably leave that fancy stabilizer at the archery shop and just buy the bow. On top of that Im pretty sure that 5" brace height wont bother a guy who is a good shot. Too many keyboard cowboys bashing stuff they don't know anything about. If you don't want to or cant afford the bow then don't buy one. Why is it necessary to run your fingers on the keyboard?
A stabilizer is not just designed to add weight. It's to balance the bow, just cause it's 5.4 pounds doesn't mean it will balance perfectly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I may have oversimplified my statement. If you add the weight of a rest, sight, quiver, stabilizer and any other accessories you may use your bow will increase in weight. I'm not saying I'm buying a wake but at that point 1 pound doesn't bother me at all. A heavier bow is more accurate as the increase in mass reduces the movement you experience during the shot. The more I think about it the more I want one.
