Mathews Monster blows up at Wisconsin Deer and Turkey Expo!

I was at the expo and didn't hear bout it until after i left but i was wondering if anyone had any info on it because i luv to hear bad stuff on mathews!

 

I am guessing there was a Bow Turbo on it.

Ok I havent got into an argument on this before but I am just gonna go ahead and voice my opinon on this statement right here. (I may regret this in the near future due to a petty argument)

Ok #1 just like Rob said this is how rumors get started. Do you know if it blew up, apparently not or you wouldnt have asked the question in your post. So why do you title your post "Mathews Monster blows up at Wisconsin Deer and Turkey Expo!"? I also dont get why folks just love to hate on other bow companies just because they dont happen to shoot that particular brand. Not everyone does this but anyone who has ever been on one of these forums has seen this before. Honestly it gets old real old. If you think you shoot for the best bow company out there GREAT, but do not bash on another company just becuase you dont like them, its awful juvenile.

Yes I shoot a Mathews bow but never once have I discounted another bow company on one of these forums. I have had conversations with people where I stated that I thought that brand X was a better bow than brand Y, but then I gave reasons why, didnt bash a company but just stated reasons why I thought a certain manufacturer did a better job than another. Just because a certain bow company isnt what you shoot doenst mean that in any way shape or form you should feel the need to bash them, unless the compnay has in the past done you wrong in one way or another.

Now extreme_archer, if the Mathews Bow Co. has in the past done you some sort of wrong I completely apologise for what I posted here and shold be given lashes in public.

I really dont try to live to seriously but man that bashing gets old. Like I said if you think the brand you shoot is the best (and it should be for everyone, you should definately be proud of what you shoot) thats awesome. But you know the kind of crap that gets posted as far as bashing and honestly that gets old fast.

 

I love hearing bad stuff about Elite Archery, blah blah blah blah blah!! Grow up! I cant wait to buy my new Monster. Heck, I'll even put an arrow on it before I fire the dang thing!!

 

well as far as heard it blew up with an arrow on it! Just saying that is wut i heard. i just wanted to get the whole story on it blowing up...if it happened!!!!! but wutever...u have fun with ur monster and i'll have fun with my elite and if u could send me that bad stuff about elite that would be great...thank u!

Hopefully nobody got hurt and if there is an issue it will be addressed. That is if the rumor is true

 

why don't you all just chill out? Your jumping on him cause of a question. No one seriously gets off on people being hurt. Get a little thicker skin guys, it's just a little poke. We do it all the time in the firehouse. Throw a little insult here & there towards other bow brands. sheesh, lighten up. I'm sure he didn't get his jollies if he heard some one got hurt, but if there is any truth to the rumor, it should be known. When there was a recall on the Bowtech General it talked about here, and there were jabs thrown at Bowtech, big deal. You don't own the company, what do you care what someone says. sorta like "my pa can whip yer pa" syndrome.

As for the the original question/topic.....I was there all weekend and never heard a thing about it. I would imagine that if it did happen, news would have traveled fast and I would have heard it.

I have been known to be wrong, but I believe its a false rumor.

 

You're right on the money Zach! It's the subject line that tweaks me out. You make a statement of "fact" to the world and then come in here and preface by saying that it's a rumor. If it's a rumor then state it as such from the beginning. Poking fun is one thing. Being slanderous is another.

For the record, I own a Mathews along with my BowTech, 2 Hoyts a Golden Eagle and I'm going to shoot the Elites at corporate HQ in May. So I don't care who's name is involved rumors started by ignorance torque me off.

 

All this talk, have we figured out if it's fact or fiction yet?
