Hey just putting this out there for others. I attempted to put a Mathews edition of the SmackDown Pro on the Vertix and the cage of the rest comes in contact with the beaver tail on the new grip. Also there is little room for the corner edge to mate up with the rest due to the groove for the dovetail. So Mathews version rests might not fit the bows with the dovetail depending on design.
Have you tried non-mathews versions of the smackdown with the longer mounting bracket? I have no experience with the vertix yet
David I have not. I did email Arcus though and let them know so hopefully they would make some adjustments. It should in theory work with the non-mathews version but I don't have one to verify that be sure.
