i've been told it was the fastest drop away on the market but I was still told to get the best QAD they had that it was better.

This is what I was told by my bow shop:

The Down Force is the fastest drop away on the market. Most drop away rests are completely cleared of the arrow after 17" of arrow travel. The Down Force is clear of the arrow after only 5".

I don't know how much truth there is to this is but I ended up going with the Apache. I didn't look into any measurements or anything crazy like that. I just looked at the price tag and practicality. I couldn't justify spending $130 on a rest that would in all reality do the same job as my $50 rest. If my arrow is 27" long it doesn't matter much if the rest is clear at 17" or 5", its still cleared when the fletchings pass through.

I used to work for the company that produces these rests. I have literally built thousands of them. Every piece of that rest is inspected for quality, fit and finish. Completely hand assembled and entirely built in the U.S. I would not be afraid to own one. The gentleman who designed the rest also designed the Expert-II for G5.

If you have any specific questions please feel free to PM me.

Thank you Backcountry, I won't have any bow equipment in my hands for about another month but if I have any questions I'll be sure to hit you up.
