im saving up some money now to buy a brand new mathews bow, but i need help deciding which one i should get. i like the look of the mathews z7 extreme, but i like the back wall stop on the helim, and i also like the creed. Any thoughts/opinions would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I take it you have shot these bows. If not I would go shoot all of them- it will help. Also I would give the ZXT a look. It's basically a z7 extreme with a different name. Mine shoots great!

Love my Z7. Just see which one shoots the smoothest and feels right to you. I do know there are very few differences between all three bows.

I havent shot it but I like the look of the chill. When they make it or a monster with a tall riser in the helim I'll be in the market myself.

Love their bows and the company. Don't think you'll go wrong on any of them.

I currently shoot a z7, and tried out a chill for the first time the other day. I really did not like it at all. At the same draw weight as my z7 I could barely pull the bow back at all. It has a much harsher draw cycle. I hear the creed is supposed to be a lot smoother, but I would recommend either the z7 or the Heli-m. There are quite a few z7's on ebay for a pretty reasonable price, otherwise if you are buying next year all the bows will drop in price as well.

What draw length do you need? I'm considering selling my Helim setup since I picked up that Carbon Knight. PM me if you would like pics or info on it.

I was looking at the ZXT but have decided to just wait until November for the 2014 line to be released. Getting really itchy.

Shoot them all if you can and in a week or two shoot them again. Sometimes you need that second look to make sure you really like how it feels.

i haven't shot any of them yet because there are no mathews dealers in my area (Windsor, Ontario) unless i cross the boarder into the US... but i was just wondering what other peoples thoughts were on these bows, i love the design and i know its all about what feels right in your hand.. also, do you know any differences between the ZXT and the z7 extreme besides the price, and the extra little bit of weight?

Are you looking for a used bow or new one? I would post this in another section then the classifieds for better response.

Why would you do that now when the new bows will be out in about 10 days. I would wait and see what they come out with this year!

He said he was saving up, I suspect this fiscal archer would get a 2013 model cheaper than 2014 but either way I would definitely support window shopping the latest and greatest, the Creed is a very good choice.

At 28 dl youre in luck. 28 is a popular dl and I fall .5" short which corners my market in a bad way : / ive seen alot of 28 dl mathews going for ahout 650 to 750 on the classifieds for 2013.
