Any idea what kind of speed you could expect out of the Halon 6 with a 27" draw, 55 pound DW and 380-400 grain arrow? I'm by all means not a speed guy but with my HTR it would be nice to have a little more oomph if you know what I mean. Are the draw cycle's similar?

Draw cycle is similar however I'd give the nod to the HTR by an ever so slight margin. However you're going to pick up considerable amount of speed with a Halon 6 versus an HTR.

I am going to try to find one soon to shoot. I always say I am keeping my current bow for a couple seasons but then the new bow bug bites and I convince myself I need a new one LOL.

I preferred the Halon to the HTR. Shots felt very similar, HTR was only slightly smoother on the draw, but not by much IMO. Halon was noticeably quicker.
