I was just looking at my sheds all together that I found this year and I think that I have made another set. I was looking at them and the pedicles are the same. They also have the same curves and everything else. What do you all think?

The easiest way to tell is usually by the shape of the pedicles and the burr configuration around the pedicles.

They are very similar. The roundness to the pedicle and the burrs are really close. I will take a picture closer so that you can see.

Steve....I guess I should have mentioned that I thought they were a match before anyways! LOL! The pedicle comment was just a reference.

Now, yes, I would say 100% that they are a match.

I was not bashing you just trying to get your thoughts. I was thinking it was really hard but always like to get others input. Thanks all!

Along with the pedicles, you can use a couple other references that seem to hold true.

Flip the sheds upside down, look at the beams, they should be pretty close in their geometry (I feel this holds true for bucks year to year also, they just get longer, no tines to distract you)

Look at where the browtines are situated above the pedicles, they usually are pretty similar in height.

Rarely do I go off of tines length or configuration, they vary greatly and from year to year they do change.

example from sheds we found this year compared to last years (ya, the forks make it easier but count the points between the two)

And I do know this is a matched set because it is pretty unique, and I watched him for about 45 minutes at about 50 yards during gun season :D
