Dug these gems out for a photo. All of the playsets like the castle, fright zone, vehicles etc are all disassembled and in plastic containers wrapped in bubble wrap, so no photo of them. This represents every figure ever created for the United States (including most variants as well) with all of their weapons and accessories (plus a lot of duplicates both complete and not complete) for the cartoon series minus two that I have no interest in (rotar and twistoid). Just never cared for them.
I think you might be a bit ill....I found one of the He-man figures a couple years ago while digging around in the attic - I let the then 3 year old play with it for a bit and wallah -missing a leg. I did not cry or sniffle even I did check it out online a couple days later to see what I lost and it turns out it was only worth about 28-35 bucks.
Dayum !!! We have a bunch of young ins here !!! I am of the era of the old Popeye cartoons, the black and white ones !!!! the old Bugs Bunny and Roadrunner stuff, Heckle and Jeckle....that kind of stuff, like I said, most of these were in black and white. Am I aging myself too much ? My Son was in the era of the MOTU, he's got a bunch of the action figures that he bought, brand new, still in the packages !!! He bought them for the collectible possibilities, which may pay off for him in the future.
I remember a few years ago Boomerang was awesome, but now most of the good cartoons are only on in the 2:00 AM to 6:00 AM time frame.
The only cartoons I watch nowadays are Henry the Hugglemonster, Baby Einstein, Sophia the First, and Jake and the Neverland Pirates...
No Doc McStuffins? My girls love Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Doc McStuffins and Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood.
Doc mcstuffins and sofia the first are a regular on our tv....the little one lights right up when they come on Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk 2
Three factors determine their value; what character it is, if it has all of the weapons and accessories and the condition of the figure and its weapons and acccessories. These prices below are all listed in very good condition, out of package. A common figure with no weapons is worth about $5-10 A somewhat rare figure with no weapons about $20-25 A rare figure with no weapons between $25-$50 Very rare figure up to $200-300 (these were not US releases or were promo give aways) Prototypes I have no idea but pretty big cash With all of the weapons and accessories; Common figures $12-25 Somewhat rare figures $30-75 Rare $75-200 Very rare up to $500-600 Some even higher (again these were not US releases or are promo giveaways) When they are still new in the package they get quite expensive up to and above $2000 for highly graded ones. I see no point in collecting toys that are still in the package and I can not believe the cash some people pay for them.
Today's cartoons that are good... Adventure Time Uncle Grandpa Fanboy and Chum Chum Sponge Bob Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
I received a Yoda figure as a gift in high school that was still on the card. It was the ROTJ Tri-Card series. The figure had the orange snake, which turns out was very rare. I had the thing for sixteen years before I knew anything about it. I recently sold it, ungraded, for $1000 to a guy on a Star Wars action figure forum.
