A thread for the greatest cartoon ever...

Every day as a kid... Get off the bus, wait for MOTU to come on, watch the show and then proceed to destroy Skeletor and his evil warriors the rest of the night until bed time.

I can't remember if this was on just before or just after GI Joe was...used to stop and watch 'em at my Gramma's house on our way home from school. Pizza burgers, cookies and milk while watching the toons at Gram's....didn't get much better than that.

    And ThunderCats....almost forgot them

So while we were saving the world from evil you were watching the hippies drive around in their van and smoke pot. Explains alot.

My son had all the MOTU toys and was a big fan of TMNT too. In my day cartoons were only on Saturday mornings and it was Bugs Bunny and Loony Toons until about 9:00 AM. After that, kids were expected to be outside playing, not inside watching the boob tube.

I had a bunch if the action figures as well. I used to enjoy kicking Skeletor's butt every night after the show. Thundercats, TMNT, Voltron, Transformers and GI Joe were all in heavy rotation- when I wasn't playing outside.

I was a big fan of Masters of the Universe. I had all the action figures. The movie left a lot to be desired, but that is typically the case.

I was big fan of Transformers as well. I have yet to watch the movies and have no plans of doing so. I don't see how you can try and pass off Bumblebee as a Camaro.

Dino Riders was another cartoon I liked. I had a number of those action figures as well.

Thundercats was another favorite. Lion-O was one of my favorite action figures as a kid.

I enjoyed Scooby as a kid and will still watch if I catch one of the old episodes on TV.
